According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), tornadoes associated with this earlier alert are no longer expected in the area.

Red warning – severe thunderstorm – in effect
At 7:43 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time Saturday, Environment Canada has updated a severe thunderstorm warning for North Central Alberta. Extra care and attention should be exercised. The following localities are included in the warning: Lac Ste. Anne County, Wildwood and Parkland County. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an extremely dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, baseball size or greater hail and heavy rain.
