The Town of Fox Creek is hosting a pancake breakfast, parade and more this Wednesday to celebrate Canada Day.
In the Community Hall of the Fox Creek Greenview Multiplex, residents can enjoy a free pancake breakfast from 8-10 a.m., followed by the parade at 10:30 a.m.
The parade runs for one hour, and as a result, road closures will be in effect on 7 Avenue, 8 Avenue, 3 Street and 2A Avenue. Residents are also asked to remove all vehicles from the parade route, pictured below, before the parade begins.

After the parade, an opening ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m. Then, from 12-4 p.m., residents can enjoy the following free treats and activities:
- Bouncy castles
- Balloon artists
- Glitter tattoos
- Apple turnovers
- Ice cream treats
- Bottled water
A dunk tank also runs until 3 p.m., and local vendors will be set up around the walking track for any shopping needs.
