Nominations for Barrhead County’s Rural Stewardship and Enrichment Awards are open now.
The awards celebrate county residents with beautiful yards or a passion for environmental stewardship.
The county says it is proud to recognize individuals, businesses and organizations that demonstrate rural stewardship by contributing to the aesthetics and environmental well-being of the county.
Award winners will be selected based on outstanding property maintenance, enhancements and visual appeal, or for their commitment to responsible resource management and environmental conservation projects on their property.
Nominations are open until July 15. Eligibility criteria and nomination forms are available on the county website.
