Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a rainfall warning for Lac Ste. Anne and Barrhead County.
Officials say heavy rain is continuing today, with total amounts of 50 to 100 mm expected. Localized amounts exceeding 100 mm are also possible.
Rain should become lighter starting Tuesday evening.
Environment Canada reminds residents in the area to avoid driving through flooded roadways and watch for washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
