The Whitecourt Street Fair runs May 8-10 this year, featuring rides, games, food and plenty of fun.
The event takes place at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #44 in Whitecourt (4928 51 Avenue).
Hours for the weekend are as follows:
- Friday: 3-11 p.m.
- Saturday: 12-11 p.m.
- Sunday: 12-5 p.m.
Ride tickets and wristbands will be available at the ticket booth, and admission is free. You can also pick up wristbands in advance at the Whitecourt and District Chamber of Commerce.
To support the safe setup, operation, and takedown of the carnival, two road closures are in effect. A closure is in effect on 51 Avenue, from 49 Street to 50 Street, and 50 Street, from 50 Avenue to 52 Avenue. The closures are in effect until May 11.
