A partial road closure is impacting traffic in Mayerthorpe due to a sinkhole.
Lac Ste. Anne County officials report a small sinkhole has developed at the site of a bridge project just past Mayerthorpe Jr/Sr High School, causing traffic on Township Road 574 A (50 Avenue) to be reduced to one lane.
Signage and control devices are in place, and motorists are asked to follow all instructions and use caution.
Despite the situation, the county says Bridge Project BF 13468 is still on track to be completed this summer.
