The Whitecourt Wolverines recently distributed its team awards to wrap up the 2025-2026 season.
The organization named Jalen Bianchet as Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the regular season and Brendan Ruskowski as the Playoff MVP. Ruskowski netted 11 goals and four assists during the postseason.
Ruskowski also received an Unsung Hero award, along with Kyle Tucker.
Jalen Bianchet was the team’s top scorer, with 46 goals and 41 assists in the regular season.
Meantime, Quentin Bourne was named Top Defenceman. Over the season, he played 52 games to earn 41 points through nine goals and 32 assists.
The Fan Favourite and Humanitarian titles both went to Spencer Claerhout.
In addition to Unsung Hero, Pretty earned the Most Dedicated award, while Elliott Pratt was Most Improved.
Tristan Slywka is the team’s Rookie of the Year.
Coach’s awards were given to Nathan Hawkins and Ty Rayan.
