A fire restriction is in effect for the County of Barrhead.
It went into effect at 4:30 p.m. on April 29, as determined by the fire chief.
The restriction suspends all burn permits and prohibits new ones from being issued.
The use of burn barrels, incinerators and large burn pits is also prohibited.
Permitted activities include:
- Backyard fire pits and fires in approved fire pits
- Propane barbeques or propane fire pits
