No injuries have been reported after a residential fire in Edson Wednesday night.
On March 11, just before 9:00 p.m., town officials say Edson Fire was dispatched to a reported structure fire on the 800 block of 52 Street in Edson.
According to town officials, the first unit arrived within three minutes of the page and found a working fire with flames coming from the rear of a mobile home.
The fire was said to be quickly contained with the use of interior and exterior handlines. The town says primary and secondary searches declared an all-clear. Officials say crews overhauled the area to ensure a complete extinguishment.
The town says the fire is under investigation with the support of a third-party contractor.
EFD responded with two engines, a heavy rescue, a utility engine, and two command units. EFD was also supported by ATCO, Fortis, RCMP, EMS, and the Town of Edson utilities team.
