According to the Alberta Major Projects Dashboard, two pipeline projects have been proposed for Yellowhead County, and one for the Municipal District of Greenview No. 16.
The Colt Pipeline Project would see an 18-kilometre (km), 48-inch-diameter pipeline constructed within Yellowhead County. It would begin at an existing valve site about 55 km northwest of Edson and extend to the southeast, to another existing valve site.
If approved, the anticipated construction schedule is 2026-2028 for an estimated $404 million.

Also proposed for the county, the McLeod South Project would construct a 48-inch-diameter pipeline beginning about eight km southwest of Edson. From there, it would extend northwest about 22 km, adjacent to the existing Grande Prairie Mainline.
The estimated cost is $321 million, and it is expected to be constructed by 2027, if approved.

Also adjacent to the Grande Prairie Mainline, the Greenview Pipeline Project would see 15 km of 48-inch-diameter pipe laid within the Municipal District of Greenview No. 16.
Its estimated cost is $205 million and, if approved, it should be complete by 2028.
All three projects are proposed by the TC Energy Corporation.
