Farmers in Barrhead County and the surrounding area are invited to a free mental health workshop and dinner next week.
On Feb. 26 from 5-9 p.m., Barrhead County is hosting “Talk Ask Listen,” an interactive mental health workshop designed for the agriculture industry.
The session is intended to help people across agricultural communities increase their mental health knowledge, become comfortable with mental health conversations and learn how to take action.
The event will be held at Bablitz Exposition Hall, and a free supper is included.
Registration is required, and must be completed by Feb. 20. You can call the county at 780-674-3331 to save your seat.
The event is to be hosted in partnership with the Barrhead Agricultural Society and the Do More Agriculture Foundation.
