Whitecourt RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.
Police say that on Jan. 29, just before 11 p.m., a reportedly armed suspect entered the Ritz Café and Motor Inn in Whitecourt.
The suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at an employee, went to the safe and then left the business with a cash box containing money.
The suspect is described as wearing black runners, a black jacket, grey sweatpants and a grey face covering with the eyes cut out.
