A snowfall warning is in effect for Woodlands, Yellowhead and Lac Ste. Anne County.
Environment and Climate Change Canada says heavy snow with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is forecast by Wednesday evening.
A heavy band of snow is expected to develop tomorrow morning, stretching from northwestern Alberta into central Alberta, with rapid accumulation projected.
This accumulation may make it difficult to navigate roads and walkways, and travellers should prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating conditions.
