Whitecourt Wolverines captain Jalen Bianchet has another special honour under his belt this week.
He was just named AJHL Player of the Month after collecting 18 points, including 12 goals and six assists, throughout October. That brings him to 32 points, 21 of which were goals, in just 16 regular season games.
The 2005-born forward recorded eight multi-point games and five multi-goal games last month. He was also awarded the title of AJHL Player of the Game three times and AJHL Player of the Week twice.
This is his third year playing for the Wolverines, and the team currently leads the AJHL’s North Division with a 12-4-0-0 record.
AJHL officials say Bianchet will also be nominated for the CJHL 3 Stars of the Month Awards for October.
