Construction on the Main Street four-way crosswalk in Barrhead begins today, Oct. 3.
To maintain access to the intersection, only two corners will be worked on at a time. That being said, the town notes accessibility challenges are expected, and those requesting accessible access are encouraged to use an alternate route.
The project is expected to be complete in one week, weather permitting.
The town thanks residents for their patience and understanding as this infrastructure work gets underway.
