The mandatory evacuation order for the Town of Swan Hills has been lifted and changed to a four hour evacuation alert, according to Alberta Emergency Alert.
The alert explains, residents can return home but must make sure they remain prepared to evacuate under four hour notice.
Officials ask returning residents to follow all directions given by law enforcement, town representatives and any signs that may be posted.
