Whitecourt town council has released the Strategic Plan for 2025.
This year’s plan identifies council’s four key priorities and areas of focus:
- Economic Health
- Livability
- Organizational Excellence
- Governance Excellence
Whitecourt Mayor Tom Pickard says the strategic plan was developed from public feedback to help guide council.
“The Plan reflects council’s commitment to fostering a community that is progressive, prosperous, connected and engaged,” says Mayor Pickard. “Priorities were developed based on feedback we received from the public, community stakeholders, and public advisory boards. The four strategic priorities will guide council decisions and projects for the remainder of this term, and provide a framework for the transition to our new town council that will be elected in October 2025.”
