Officials with the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have released the list of players who have been selected for the Inter Pipeline All-Academic Team, including a member of the Whitecourt Wolverines.
The All-Academic Team recognizes players who are dedicated to their studies at the high school or post-secondary level and have demonstrated the qualities of an exceptional student-athlete, working to further their athletic and academic achievements.
The 2025 All-Academic Team includes:
- Xavier Lacoste of the Whitecourt Wolverines.
- Matthias Bessey of the Drayton Valley Thunder.
- Alex Coventry of the Bonnyville Pontiacs.
- Jack Plandowski of the Calgary Canucks.
- Tyson Murray of the Camrose Kodiaks.
- Liam Magnuson of the Canmore Eagles.
- Jaxson Martin of the Devon Xtreme.
- Will McLaughlin of the Drumheller Dragons.
- Carter Schmidt of the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.
- Kailus Green of the Grande Prairie Storm.
- Dylan Deets of the Lloydminster Bobcats.
- Aiden Knutson of the Olds Grizzlys.
As part of a long-standing partnership with the AJHL, Inter Pipeline will award a $1,500.00 scholarship to one of the players on the All-Academic Team. Officials say the winner will be announced at a later date.
