Whitecourt Wolverines goaltenders Zac Onyskiw and Elliot Pratt have been selected as the recipients of the Top Team Goaltenders Award for the 2024/25 season.
The Top Team Goaltenders award is presented annually to the goaltenders of the team with the best Goals Against Average (GAA) in the regular season.
Onyskiw and Pratt had a dominant season, posting a league-best 124 goals against and a 2.29 GAA.
Onyskiw has posted a 1.87 GAA and 0.939 save percentage, with a record of 26 wins, seven losses, one overtime loss and three shootout losses and has had three shutouts on the season.
Elliot Pratt has posted a 2.56 GAA and 0.911 save percentage with a record of eight wins, four losses, two overtime losses and no shootout losses and has had one shutout on the season.
The Wolverines are back in action on Friday, March 21, as they get set to face off against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons for the first round of the 2024/25 AJHL Playoffs.
