At their Regular Meeting on Monday, Feb. 10, Whitecourt town council decided to recognize June 6, as BGC Whitecourt Day.
BGC Clubs provide programs and services for children and teens that help young people realize positive outcomes.
BGC Whitecourt & District, formerly known as Boys and Girls Club of Whitecourt and District, will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2025 and the overall organization will be celebrating its 125th Anniversary.
This proclamation was made in accordance with Policy 11-008 – Salutes of Special Days/Weeks/Events and/or Proclamations.
