The Whitecourt RCMP has provided an update regarding its police chase and arrest from earlier this week.
Their investigation has led them to find the “suspicious vehicle” involved in the pursuit which was stolen out of Edmonton, along with the license plate.
Bradley Gordon Duff, a 39-year-old Whitecourt resident had 18 charges laid against him:
- Possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, without a license
- Two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
- Four counts of possession of a firearm, cross-bow, prohibited weapon, restricted weapon, prohibited device, any ammunition, any prohibited ammunition, or an explosive substance whilst prohibited
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
- Refusal to comply with demand (for impaired)
- Operate a motor vehicle while being pursued
- Two counts of operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so
- Possession of property obtained by crime, over $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime, under $5000
- Fraudulent concealment
- Operate a motor vehicle while uninsured

Mounties say Duff was remanded into custody with a court date set for Monday, Jan. 20, in St. Albert.
At this time, Whitecourt RCMP says the investigation is still ongoing.
