The Whitecourt and District Chamber of Commerce has a new president.
Terrianne Masse was sworn in as the new Chamber president at a member meeting luncheon on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
Masse says she is excited to serve in her new role and is looking forward to supporting businesses of all sizes.
“We want to show a lot of value to our members so they never question why they are a member,” says Masse. “We want to be really engaged and honestly advocate for any size of business. Doesn’t matter if you’re a non-profit, small business, all the way down to a large corporation, we’re here to support you.”
Masse also says although her goals include more support for businesses, the Chamber will still continue to host many events throughout the year.
“Putting on these events gives them [Members] a platform to show what they do and who they are. It’s not the only thing that we do, so we do want to get past that, but we’re never stopping our events.”
Other members elected to the board include:
Vice President – Julie Moore.
Directors – Debbie Davio, Haneef Hameer, Shannon Konsmo, Kim Kaminski.
