With the holiday season approaching, officials with the Town of Barrhead are informing residents that several facilities will be closed or have alternate hours of operation between Monday, Dec. 23, and Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Tuesday, Dec. 24:
Town Office: OPEN 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Public Works Shop: OPEN 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Landfill: OPEN 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Barrhead Regional Aquatics Centre: OPEN 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Agrena: OPEN 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
December 25-26 & January 1:
All Town Facilities: CLOSED.
GARBAGE COLLECTION
Monday, Dec. 23 – Regular schedule. Garbage will be collected as usual.
Tuesday, Dec. 24 – Regular schedule. Garbage will be collected as usual.
Wednesday, Dec. 25 – Christmas Day, no collection.
Thursday, Dec. 26 – Boxing Day, no collection.
Monday, Dec. 30 – Regular schedule.
Wednesday, Jan. 1 – New Year’s Day, garbage will be collected on Jan. 2.
CARDBOARD COLLECTION
Town officials say between Dec. 23 and Jan. 2, their business partners with cardboard collection carts will try empty cardboard bins between garbage collections.
Officials apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank residents for their patience.
