As the Canada Post strike continues with no end in sight, officials with Barrhead County are reminding residents that finance charges will still be applied to any overdue accounts.
Residents of Manola, Neerlandia and Macgill Estates are being informed that payments on water and sewer bills are still due even though paper bills may not be received due to the ongoing postal strike.
In order to avoid additional charges, residents can collect bills from the County office (5306 – 49 Street in Barrhead) or request they be sent digitally.
