Now that the snow has arrived, officials with the Town of Whitecourt are asking residents to take steps to help ensure snow removal can be completed quickly and efficiently.
Residents are being asked to remove curb matts, ramps and other obstructions such as sporting equipment that could cause damage to snow clearing equipment.
Crews say the removal of these obstructions will allow them to complete snow removal work quickly and efficiently.
Sanding trucks are expected to hit the roads in the coming days followed by clearing once enough snow has accumulated.
