At around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, Whitecourt RCMP responded to a semi-truck fire at the intersection of Highway 43 and Highway 32, near the turn-off to the Eagle River Casino.

Mounties closed one of the westbound lanes about two kilometers before the intersection and are asking drivers to exercise extra caution as they proceed through the area.
