The Edson and District Homelessness Task Force and the Edson RCMP are inviting local business owners to a town hall meeting to discuss what they believe will lead to a better understanding of homelessness in Edson.
Organizers say Edson RCMP Detachment Commander S/Sgt. Christian Delisle along with representatives from the Town of Edson Protective Services, the Edson and District Homelessness Task Force, the Wayfinding – Edson Friendship Centre and Community Futures West Yellowhead would like to meet with local business owners and share safety tips and proactive initiatives.
Organizers say this meeting will also provide an opportunity for local business owners to share their thoughts with officials and ask any questions they may have.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Edson Friendship Centre and will also be live-streamed on the Town of Edson Facebook page.
