Whitecourt Wolverines defenceman Xavier LaCoste has been named the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 21-27.

LaCoste has put up four points in the Wolverines’ last three wins and currently leads all AJHL defensemen in points with 13.

LaCoste and the rest of the Wolverines are back in action this Saturday as they play host to the Devon Xtreme. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. and you can catch all the action live on XM105FM, home of the Whitecourt Wolverines.
