Officials with Woodlands County are informing residents that the date for the virtual presentation from the Do More Agriculture Foundation has been changed.
The presentation was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12, but organizers say it will now be taking place on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., via Zoom.
Officials with the Do More Agriculture Foundation say this virtual workshop will focus on supporting the mental health of farmers, ranchers and others in the agriculture industry by covering the following topics:
- How to identify the signs of mental illness and substance abuse.
- How to support yourself and others who may be struggling.
- Available mental wellness support resources.
- How to approach a conversation with someone who is experiencing mental health changes.
Interested residents are strongly encouraged to register online in order to receive a link to the workshop.
