Woodlands County residents are being informed that Pest Inspectors will be out looking for signs of clubroot in canola and other crops throughout the County during the month of September.
Inspectors say they will be taking preventative measures aimed at limiting the spread of the disease and will inform producers of suspected cases followed by verified lab results.
Residents with questions or concerns are being asked to call the Woodlands County Agriculture Services Department at 1-866-584-3866 or visit the Canola Council website for more information on Clubroot.
