Barrhead town council will be holding a special meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 5:00 p.m. at Council Chambers.
Town officials say the meeting is being held to determine the validity of a petition aimed at ensuring that all public buildings, crosswalks and flags on public property remain neutral.
This special meeting is open to the public, however, since there has not been enough time to request delegation status, the public will not be able to speak to council.
The agenda and supporting documents for the meeting can be found here.
Residents with questions or concerns are being asked to contact the Town at 780-647-3301 or by emailing town@barrhead.ca
