Town facilities in Edson will be closed for a few hours on Wednesday, May 8, as Town staff attend Safety Day for some professional development.
Closures include:
- Edson and District Leisure Centre will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,
- The Civic Centre and Griffiths Park Centre will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The Protective Services Building will also be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with officials noting that emergency response will not be impacted.
All facilities are expected to return to normal operating hours on Thursday, May 9.
The Public Works Building and the Edson Landfill will continue to operate at regular hours.
