Officers with the Whitecourt RCMP detachment are looking for the driver of a grey SUV following a collision with a youth.
Whitecourt RCMP say at 5:36 p.m., on April 23, they received a report of a collision between an SUV and an 11-year-old cyclist at the Midtown Mall on 49 Street in Whitecourt.
Mounties say the cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries and was later released.
According to police, the female driver of the grey SUV remained on scene until the cyclist’s father arrived. However, no information was exchanged between the involved parties.
Whitecourt RCMP say they are investigating this occurrence and are asking the driver of the SUV to report the collision to the Whitecourt RCMP detachment.
