Forestry officials say a wildfire sparked by a pipeline rupture about 40 kilometres northwest of Edson, Alberta, is now under control.
The 10-hectare fire was sparked Tuesday when a section on a T-C Energy pipeline began leaking gas.
Much of Alberta is dealing with extremely dry early spring conditions.
Officials say an investigation into what caused the pipeline to break could take months or years. (The Canadian Press)
