Former Whitecourt Wolverines netminder Connor Ungar has signed a two-year entry level contract with the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers.
The 22-year-old Calgary native played for the USports Brock University (@BrockBadgers) this past season, posting a 20-6-0 record, 2.15 GAA & .932 SV%.
Oilers officials say he’ll report to the Bakersfield Condors (@Condors).
Ungar played 19 games for the Whitecourt Wolverines during the 2019-2020 season, posting a 9-6-3 record with 2 shutouts, a 2.58 GAA and .921 save percentage.
