An Edson man has been charged with attempted murder.
On Jan. 24, at 2:00 a.m., Edson RCMP say they responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a local residence. Upon arrival, Mounties say it was determined that two people were injured and both were transported by EMS to a local hospital and have since been released.
Police say an investigation ensued and, as a result, William Daniel Moyan, 64, a resident of Edson, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Mounties say Moyan was brought before a justice of the peace who remanded him into custody and set his next court appearance for Feb. 6, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Edson.
