The Town of Edson says there are currently two water main breaks on 46 Street between 6 Avenue and 8 Avenue.
Residents are being asked to avoid driving or parking in this area as it will be congested with equipment.
Officials say the school service should not be affected, however, the Seniors’ Lodge, and residents on 46 Street from 6 Avenue to 8 Avenue can expect reduced water pressures and/or temporary disruption of service.
Residents with concerns are being asked to call the Public Works shop at 780-723-6461 or the EMERGENCY Hours number 780-723-6300.

Officials with the Town of Edson say there is a water main break north of 46 Street and 6 Avenue.
Residents north of this intersection up to, and including 7 Avenue, can expect to experience possible water service disruptions and reduced pressure over the next few days.
Crews say they are hoping to start the repair early next week as the extreme cold warning is still in effect over the next few days.
Officials say until the break is repaired, residents are being asked not to park in this area.
The Town of Edson says anyone with concerns is encouraged to call the emergency number 780-723-6300 and ask to speak with utility personnel.
