Trunk or Treat, hosted by the Whitecourt & District Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for Sunday, October 29 from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. in downtown Whitecourt.
To accommodate the event, Town officials note, the following roads in the downtown area will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 29:
• 52 Avenue between 49 Street and 50 Street;
• 49 Street between 50 Avenue and 53 Avenue;
• 50 Street between 51 Avenue and 52 Avenue.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes in the area, and obey all posted signs and barricades.
