Alberta Environment & Protected Areas has identified the gauge at the Rosevear station on the McLeod River that has been compromised and is providing inaccurate readings to its website.
Alberta Environment & Protected Areas says current high readings from this station can be disregarded and they are working to solve the issue as quickly as possible.
Based on the current weather models, officials say the McLeod River is not expected to exceed the threshold for Environment & Protected Area’s lowest level of advisory, High Streamflow Advisory.
