In an attempt to clean up Willmore Park in Edson, logging contractors are on-site at the Park to begin processing timber in the overflow campground area, and log hauling is expected to commence on Monday, July 24.
Alberta Forestry says it also continues its reclamation work on the dozer guards in the forest area on the west end of the park.
Although Willmore Park is open for visitors, the Town of Edson stresses the importance of staying out of the work areas while they complete this important work.
The Town notes to be cautious along the roadway into the park, as heavy machinery and trucks continue to move about.
