The Whitecourt Skating Club will be collecting bottles on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
The skate club will be going to various neighborhoods within Whitecourt and door knocking. If citizens are interested in donating bottles and cans, however, do not want to be disturbed or may not be home, the Whitecourt Skating Club asks for citizens to place bags filled with bottles and cans on the front steps or where they are visible.
If citizens are unable to contribute on Saturday, they are encouraged to drop the bottles off at the Whitecourt Bottle Depot on behalf of the skating club during anytime this year.
