Golf tournament season kicked off this weekend, as the Whitecourt Golf and Country Club was host to their four person cash scramble.
More than 30 teams came out to take part on June 25 and 26, 2022.
The winner of the A Flight was the team of Chuck McSorley, Tyler Ramstead, John Buan, and Kevin Bachman. They came in at 26 under par.
Rounding out the top three are the teams of S. Vrolsen, J. Vrolsen, Vandenhouten and Williams, and Black, J. Lubarsky, T. Lubarsky, and Hutchinson. They each scored 24 under par.
In the B Flight, the team of Neilsen, Mason, Robichaud, and Gadoury were crowned the winners. Their team shot 22 under par.
Coming in second was the team of Rumberger, Tessier, Lindford, and Nicholson, shooting 21 under par.
Winning the figurative bronze medal was the team of C. Butler, Golby, M. Butler, and McKinnon with 19 under par.
In the C Flight, first place went to the team of M. McSorley, L. McSorley, Tremblay and Loiselle, with 19 under par.
Second place went to Madsen, Peeling, Golby, and Pashko with 16 under par.
Third went to Cooper, Dunphy, Miko, and Calihoo with 14 under par.
