Woodlands County has accepted the 2021 Asphalt Road Assessment.
The 30-page report studied 14 of the County’s paved roads. It looked at how much useful life they have left, and how to rehabilitate them when the time comes.
County officials say the inspections were carried out using a variety of methods, such as visual inspections and taking core samples.
The assessment was carried out by consulting firm McElhanney.
County administration emphasized that this is merely a snapshot of the road conditions.
County Councillor Bruce Prestidge applauded the report, calling it a valuable tool in asset management.
