Three people are vying for the mayor’s seat in Edson.
Town officials have confirmed that incumbent Kevin Zahara is seeking his second term as mayor. However, also running is town councillor Janet Wilkinson, and political newcomer Annie Marie Desjarlais.
10 people are running for Edson’s six council seats.
Krystal Baier, Trevor Bevan, Gean Chouinard, and Troy Christian Sorensen are all seeking reelection.
Seeking their first terms are Marsha Jensen, Charl MacPherson, Ed Moore, Greg Pasychyny, Peter Taylor, and Doug Woodhouse.
Election Day is Oct. 18, and Edson’s polling station will be at the Edson Legion Hall.
