There will be plenty of people screaming ‘Yeehaw’ this weekend as the rodeo comes to town.
The Whitecourt Woodlands Rodeo runs Aug. 21 and 22 at the Westward Rodeo Grounds. Performance start each afternoon at 4.
A Wildrose Rodeo Association-sanctioned event, all riders come from that association.
The Whitecourt Agricultural Society is also hosting several events, such as wild cow milking. As for the kids events, there is mutton busting.
Sunday morning at 9 is the pancake breakfast, served up by Thymeless Occasions.
Tickets are available at the gate, and are $10 for adults, $5 for kids from 12-17, with kids under 12 free.
