With the COVID restrictions only having just been lifted, the town of Edson has a much more scaled down Canada Day celebration planned this year.
The Town of Edson has partnered with the Galloway Museum to put on a Taste of Edson and an Artisan Market.
The Edson branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will be hosting one of their famous pancake breakfasts, starting at Noon.
It all takes place down in Centennial Park. Please note that, because of the late lifting of restrictions, there wasn’t time to book a fireworks display. The town is hoping to host a bigger celebration with fireworks and more events near the end of summer.
A lot of celebrations are going virtual as well. Be sure to check out the website Edson.ca/Canada for a special video featuring musicians, and a map to all the places in town that have decorated for Canada Day.
